A Closer Look Into The shaniya Davis Case: Where Was The Father?
By Isis Wisdom

As I was reading the news sites, listening to Nancy Grace and Larry King Live and all of the other reports about this beautiful child who was raped murdered in cold blood, I could not help but wonder where was her dad? Why wasn’t he there to protect his daughter? Isn’t that what dad’s are supposed to do? Well according to his track record Bradly Lockhart was anything but protective of his daughters.
Daughters??? Yes I said plural words, that is because Bradley has two daughters. Cheyenne which is Shaniya’s older sister who is 17 yrs of age who has been living with a close friend of the family and not the biological father Brad Lockhart. Did I mention that Cheyennes mother was murdered in a drug deal gone bad back in 1998? After carefully digging in Bradley’s past, I found out some disturbing information about shaniya’s father that would put two and two together as to his role in the case.
It would appear that Bradley may have had two sides to him then what is being portrayed in the mainstream media. I’m not exactly sure why the media has not tied this together but something does not add up. Bradley was married to a black woman in a previous marriage and had now 17 year old Cheyenne who has been interviewing with Nancy Grace and Oprah. The mother, her boyfriend and her sister was murdered in a so called robbery according to police reports. But sources closer to Bradley tell a whole completely different story.
Bradley seemed to have a thing for women and cocaine. According to the police report Bradley was out of town when his wife and 4 other victims were tied and gagged and then killed. Only two people survived the killings, one gentleman who had his throat sliced, played dead and waited for the assailants to leave the house and he climbed out of a window, and crawled next door to neighbors home and they called police. There was only one other survivor and Cheyennes mother and her boyfriend and sister were found dead in the home.
Bradley who currently lives in an affluent area in Fayetteville, makes a good living by being a contractor for the government. According to him he admitted that he knew that Shaniya’s mother was on drugs but said that the mother convinced him to let Shaniya stay with her because she had been clean and had her own place to live and held down a job for six months. I’m not buying it. Reports are now surfacing that DSS (Dept of social services) had visited the mothers home often. According to the landlord he had served Antoinette eviction papers because she kept the house so filthy and dirty and never took care of the place.
I’m just trying to understand how is it the father did not do a thorough back ground check on the mother to see the living conditions that Shaniya lived in if he knew she had a history of drug problems? If DSS visited the home why didn’t they take the child out of the home? Did they notify the father? What did DSS find out and why were they there visiting the home so much? I just find that hard to believe that the father did not know anything that was going on. Is it a coincidence that this guy exactly 11 years later has another tragic family loss due to drugs?
He just conveniently happen not to be aware of both incidences? Both ending in murder? To listen to Isis Exclusive interview with the close friend of the family check it out here.

Swazy Baby should be commended. While other up and coming artists are busy trying to bury their underground past, Swazy Baby continues to capitalize on his. And why not? It was using mixtapes as a way to build his buzz up intially, Swazy caught the eye of Bigga Rankin.
Clicking up with B-Rich and TJ Chapman, B.o.B was able to turn his underground success into a deal with Atlantic Records. After a slew of critically acclaimed mixtapes, cross-country tours and commercial placements B.o.B still has that spark in his eyes and energy in his voice that he did when I first saw him on stage.
The 90’s was great era for hip-hop but it was equally great for R&B. Many acts have come and go since then, but the foursome of Jagged Edge has seemed to have staying power. Since their dropping their debut single "The Way That You Talk" back in 1997, JE has been a regular site on the R&B scene.
C-Ride is used to the spotlight, even if you’re not used to his name yet. The Florida representor has been a staple of the Epidemic Music/Polo Grounds team for years now. After making a name for himself on the underground, he’s ready to make his presence known in the mainstream.
"I aint never left the scene! I’m always grinding." Bold words like that are normally served for underground artists still trying to get their buzz up. You wouldn't expect an artists who has signed to major deals, posted hit records and has sold units to still speak about grinding it out. But Yo Gotti isn't the average artist

I agree wholeheartedly with what you have just said. I have watched this man on Nancy Grace and find it very hard to believe he did not know SOMETHING was going on. Why else would he have had Shaniyah in the first place? And it is obvious he had a thing for black women- all of his children are black. That aside, my question was, How did he meet Antoinette Davis in the first place? He was probably also on drugs at some point- otherwise how would he have gotten involved with such a low life in the first place? None of his children live with him- except for Shaniyah. The fact that he has tragedy mixed with drugs in his past is no surprise. I am wondering why Nancy Grace has not brought up the fact of this family tragedy. Maybe someone should clue her in as well. The dad makes kids, but obviously does not realy take care of them
