Michael Jackson Dies At The Age Of 50

LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson, the “King of Pop” who once moonwalked above the music world, died Thursday as he prepared for a comeback bid to vanquish nightmare years of sexual scandal and financial calamity. He was 50.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken (Of what we don’t know) at his rented home in Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.

Earlier reports on BET’s 106&park said that his house caught on fire and that he was lying unconscious on the floor by the time one of his staff had found him. He was not breathing by the time the paramedics were called. Source from the hospital stated that a doctor gave Michael Jackson a shot of Demerol. Why they would shoot him up with Demerol when he was not breathing is still unknown to the family at this time.

“It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known,” his brother Jermaine said. Police said they were investigating, standard procedure in high-profile cases.

Jackson’s death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music’s premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album “Thriller” _ which included the blockbuster hits “Beat It,” “Billie Jean” and “Thriller” _ is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.

At the time of his death, Jackson was rehearsing hard for what was to be his greatest comeback: He was scheduled for an unprecedented 50 shows at a London arena, with the first set for July 13.

As word of his death spread, MTV switched its programming to play videos from Jackson’s heyday. Radio stations began playing marathons of his hits. Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital. In New York’s Times Square, a low groan went up in the crowd when a screen flashed that Jackson had died, and people began relaying the news to friends by cell phone.

“No joke. King of Pop is no more. Wow,” Michael Harris, 36, of New York City, read from a text message a friend had sent him. “It’s like when Kennedy was assassinated. I will always remember being in Times Square when Michael Jackson died.”

I hope the facts behind his death comes out because there is a lot of unanswered questions.

And all you other hollywood phonies and “so-called” friends of Michael. I don’t want to see any of you hyprocrites on tv proclaiming your love for Michael. You were NEVER a true friend to him, because when he needed you most; you turned away and didn’t want to be associated with him. The only people who stuck up for Mike were his Mother, his sister Janet, Elizabeth Taylor, his “true” Fans and fat ass Al Sharpton.

I’m not watching any TV tributes for Michael because I know a bunch of you hyprocrites will be there. Quincy Jones, I hope your constipated ass burns in hell. One thing you need to remember is that without Michael; the younger generation wouldn’t know who you are. Yeah, you were successful at the time of “Off The Wall’s release, but you were no way as famous as you are now.

And Diana Ross, your drugged up ass should be ashamed. Michael considered you his true friend. You led that boy on to believe that you really cared about him. And then left him in the dust when he needed you most. Elizabeth Taylor was the only friend who stood by his side. Elizabeth didn’t care what folks said about her relationship with Michael. But, you…you are a phony. And you didn’t even really discover the Jackson Five, Gladys Knight did.

Paul McCartney you are a bitter cry baby. PLEASE don’t let me see you on TV talking about how much you admired Michael blah, blah, blah. You held a grudge for years because he had one up on YOU. You were bitter. Don’t hate on Michael just because he was smarter than you. If you were such a good businessman you would have protected your s hit. But, Oh, well. I guess you should be happy now since Mike is leaving his catalog to you. Are you happy now?

And to the family of Michael: mostly the brothers…..PLEASE don’t trash your brother’s legacy by trying to make a profit out of Michael’s death. We all know Michael was the bread winner of the family and you all relied on him to feed you. Have some dignity and wait a few years before you perform in a tribute concert. Use this sorrowful time to reflect on SELF. Become stars on your own. Make Michael proud by doing for SELF. Don’t rely on his name to get you through life. Live your own life and leave your OWN legacy.

Oh, before I forget —- *beep* you MEDIA!!!! You are also a bunch of hyprocrites. When Michael was alive you laughed at him. You never gave him the benefit of the doubt. You were always biased and NOW —- you want to go down memory lane and pay tribute to Michael and talk about his GREATNESS and how he will be missed. *beep* YOU MEDIA —

People perish for the lack of knowledge, and apparently you don’t know shit! How dare you disrespect this mans family as if you knew them well. Watch the news clips. This man had a strong relationship with his family despite what the media says. Every family goes through problems, but that does not mean that you don’t love them. No one lives off of Michael. Each and every last one of those boys could have retired before they were adults. Michael chose to go on with his career. Not to take care of his family, but because he had a passion for it. I’m pretty sure that he would not be pleased with the ignorant comments that you have made about his family as well as some of his friends. Remember, reading is fundamental, and a true fan would know a lot more than what you apparently do.

So where were these so called friends? Reading really IS fundamental. How come Ms. Katherine was calling asking the nanny where Mike hid the money? GTFOH!

  2. Now What You Gotta Say? says:

A strong relationship, huh? That’s why Michael always threw up every time Joseph came near him? That’s why he was promoting his new record label on CNN, THREE days after his son died, right? They were down like four flat tires, hunh?
