More about Product
Adolfo Carrillo aka Product was born on June 10th, 1981 in Southeast Washington D.C to Honduran born Teodula Lopez and Salvadorian born Sabino Carrillo. Prior to this and after years of struggle in their respective countries, both parents immigrated to Washington D.C. in 1978, where they would meet and later give birth to Product. It was in 1981 when Product was born into the world to begin the search for the American Dream.
At the age of six a cousin introduced him to Rock and Roll intuitively spurring Product’s interest in becoming a drummer. He would spend hours on end mimicking drummers while watching MTV in hopes to one day be in a band. Product’s musical aspirations took a different path later when at the age of 14 a friend exposed him to Dr. Dre’s The Chronic. It was that epic evolution that inaugurated his development into a DJ, then a producer, and eventually the incomparable artist he is today.
During his high school years, Product would be known as the quiet overweight boy who would always walk around with headphones. The music emitting from the tiny speakers were all too often the creations of Nas, Jay–Z, Biggie, and Cannabis. Product would revise their rhyme techniques which he would later embody into his ever developing musical styles.
Product’s energy and lyrical ingenuity enables his opus to meander into a vast array of subject matter, without losing his integrity. With issue ranging from success to failure, love and pain, the trials and tribulations of life; all coupled with exciting and innovative libretto creating vibrant imagery for the listener. In addition, Product experiments with other genres of music; from reggaeton to rock, not limiting his audience or musical capabilities, and still maintains a stronghold in his origins of Hip Hop.
In essence, it is not complicated at all, to see why Product easily wins over fans of all reaches of the world. With a distinctive voice and even more personable demeanor, he is an instant hit in the music industry and a direct description of a Total Artist.
It is time for a relevant face in Hip Hop: we present to you the Man Of Renaissance…

Swazy Baby should be commended. While other up and coming artists are busy trying to bury their underground past, Swazy Baby continues to capitalize on his. And why not? It was using mixtapes as a way to build his buzz up intially, Swazy caught the eye of Bigga Rankin.
Clicking up with B-Rich and TJ Chapman, B.o.B was able to turn his underground success into a deal with Atlantic Records. After a slew of critically acclaimed mixtapes, cross-country tours and commercial placements B.o.B still has that spark in his eyes and energy in his voice that he did when I first saw him on stage.
The 90’s was great era for hip-hop but it was equally great for R&B. Many acts have come and go since then, but the foursome of Jagged Edge has seemed to have staying power. Since their dropping their debut single "The Way That You Talk" back in 1997, JE has been a regular site on the R&B scene.
C-Ride is used to the spotlight, even if you’re not used to his name yet. The Florida representor has been a staple of the Epidemic Music/Polo Grounds team for years now. After making a name for himself on the underground, he’s ready to make his presence known in the mainstream.
"I aint never left the scene! I’m always grinding." Bold words like that are normally served for underground artists still trying to get their buzz up. You wouldn't expect an artists who has signed to major deals, posted hit records and has sold units to still speak about grinding it out. But Yo Gotti isn't the average artist
