Parents Of Chicago TV Host Killed In Robbery
The two teens accused of slaying the parents of a Chicago-area TV host have were charged with murder on Thursday. Gregory Brooks Jr., 18, and Reo Thompson, 17, are each charged with four counts of murder in the perpetration of a burglary and two counts of murder in the perpetration of a robbery.
The bodies of Ruby McClendon, 76, and Milton McClendon, 78 — parents of CLTV host Garrard McClendon — were found Oct. 19 fatally shot in a Cook County forest preserve near Calumet City. Both suffered gunshot wounds in the head.
The two teens were arrested over the weekend and had been held on charges of auto theft, robbery, burglary and confinement. They are accused of robbing the couple from Hammond, stealing their 1997 Cadillac Eldorado and returning to “finish them.”
As the murder charges were announced, a Lake County judge approved a defense request for a gag order in the case. Both were expected to appear in court on the charges this morning, prosecutors said.
Meanwhile, Garrard McClendon said Friday that he has forgiven their killers. “Yes, my parents were murdered, but I have already forgiven the perpetrators,” the CLTV host told the Chicago Tribune. “I just want them to face justice.”

Swazy Baby should be commended. While other up and coming artists are busy trying to bury their underground past, Swazy Baby continues to capitalize on his. And why not? It was using mixtapes as a way to build his buzz up intially, Swazy caught the eye of Bigga Rankin.
Clicking up with B-Rich and TJ Chapman, B.o.B was able to turn his underground success into a deal with Atlantic Records. After a slew of critically acclaimed mixtapes, cross-country tours and commercial placements B.o.B still has that spark in his eyes and energy in his voice that he did when I first saw him on stage.
The 90’s was great era for hip-hop but it was equally great for R&B. Many acts have come and go since then, but the foursome of Jagged Edge has seemed to have staying power. Since their dropping their debut single "The Way That You Talk" back in 1997, JE has been a regular site on the R&B scene.
C-Ride is used to the spotlight, even if you’re not used to his name yet. The Florida representor has been a staple of the Epidemic Music/Polo Grounds team for years now. After making a name for himself on the underground, he’s ready to make his presence known in the mainstream.
"I aint never left the scene! I’m always grinding." Bold words like that are normally served for underground artists still trying to get their buzz up. You wouldn't expect an artists who has signed to major deals, posted hit records and has sold units to still speak about grinding it out. But Yo Gotti isn't the average artist

Peace,so I wonder will black america ever wake up ?
This is a prime example that black america is not free and we are being held hostage to some really sinister activity that a vast % of black people are scared to
deal with. Black america is in denial. The civil rights era is over with.
Right now, black youth, black adults are and have been programmed to kill
each other, and self destruct.
Even though we have some black president, that is a farce.
Most of these insane, programmed, 21st century niggatrons are out of their minds.
You would think a black person like the brother who lost his parents would deserve
better in amerikkka. But it’s obvious certain racist’s in amerikkka don’t care.
The kkk does not even have to march no more, long as we insane, brainwashed, slave
minded 21st century slaves on the loose.
Helping the kkk and other racist get rid of black people.
It’s a damn shame
