“R.I.P. to FEMALE EMCEES” Eternia & MoSS

There is a much bigger agenda in the mainstream hip-hop media concerning female emcees. While I won’t get in to conspiracy theories on this post, I’m afraid that most of todays websites and mainstream magazines don’t want to promote what is organic but rather what is packaged with no creativity and just looks good. Did I just take a shot at somebody maybe perhaps I did.

We prefer the latter and that is real creativity and real talent. So we featured R.I.P. to female Emcee where MC Lyte and Jean Grae are being interviewed by canadian vet Eternia about how they feel women are portrayed and how easy it is to really find them. I can’t speak for other blogs but maybe perhaps we need to start focusing a little more on this talent to let you guys know that yes that female emcees are very much alive and well and spitting just like most of your talented male emcees. You claim you can find them. Well maybe you just aren’t looking hard enough!
