The Starfest Music festival reached ground-breaking numbers this year when Carroll City’s own Rick Ross aka “THE BOSS” came out to support their movement. Haiti supporters was estimated to be over half a million people in the crowd. as Ross embraced them with nothing but love and respect on the stage. More below.
The Starfest Music Festival was created to entertain Caribbean residents and citizens worldwide through concerts from some of the Top Artists in the world performing Hip-Hop, R&B, Compa, Reggae, Jazz and Zouk music. There will also be parties, food, drinks, art, talent shows, cultural and educational events. In addition to having tons of fun, STARFEST will bring awareness to the world about the needs of the Caribbean Community and the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
THE PRESIDENT OF STARFEST MUSIC FESTIVAL “This was truly for a great cause which made it even more beautiful, but it also speaks as a global movement that is more than just about the music. Along with Ross, we visited hospitals, several boys and girls group homes, and showed love to the men in duty in Haiti. It is a true blessing for the Starfest team to see the results in motion. Again, it wasn’t just about the great music, thank you to everyone that supports our movement including Rick Ross. I cannot stop thanking God for what just happened: it was not a walk in the park in any way. The work is still not done, but with the help of God, all things are possible. We have 15 more countries still to go.”
