It’s been ten long years since we have heard anything from the songstress but this album will be more then worth the wait according to fellow soul singer and Sony label mate Maxwell. He had heard some of the music from the album. “Trust me, it’s so monolithic it’ll shake you in your shoes!” he wrote on his private Facebook page.
There hasn’t been much details revealed about the new album “Soldier Of Love” . The Grammy winning artist will return in 2010 with her first collection of new music since 2000′s Lover’s Rock, which went on to become certified triple platinum.
Sade has sold 17 million units in the U.S. alone, and has collaborated with Hip Hop artists such as Krayzie Bone, the Neptunes, and others. Soldier of Love will hit stores in time for Valentine’s Day, on Feb. 8.
