The murder trial of Aubrey Berry, the man accused of shooting Atlanta rapper Dolla in broad daylight at the Beverly Hills mall, started today (May 4th). Berry, 24, is being tried by a jury for committing the 2009 murder, after the two had allegedly been involved in an altercation at a strip club in Atlanta.

We felt this would help us bring in additional donations to all of the charities involved. We do this event to convey awareness to the community; this move allows us to drop the prices on everything from tickets to vendor booths. We aim to make the entire city AWARE. We do not want anyone to miss out on the AWARENESS messages because the ticket prices are too high, eventually A-TOWN DAY will be a free event for the city of Atlanta,” excitedly states the founder of A-Town Day, Brian Glasper.

Yep. According to The Advocate magazine, Atlanta rates as the nation’s gayest city, followed by Burlington, Vt., Iowa City, Bloomington and Madison, Wis. Don’t bother looking for San Francisco, New York or Los Angeles — those supposed gay meccas don’t even place in the rankings compiled by the nation’s oldest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender publication.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta comedian Katt Williams was in jail Monday morning after being arrested and charged with burglary and criminal trespassing, a deputy at the Coweta County jail said.

I was wondering why Greg Street was sending out tweets about Fif being in Atlanta last night. 50cent made an appearance today at Macy’s to promote his new cologne ‘Power”. If anybody can pull that off it’s 50cent. Curtis says, “For me, power isn’t just something you learn on the street or in the boardroom — it’s a way of life.” In related news, 50 Cent’s new album, “Before I Self-Destruct” is expected to hit stores on November 16th.
