What can I say I think this artist has been slept on, in the musical blogosphere for far to long. Stanza has a new free album titled “Lyrical Lovers” appropriately titled. The album is hot from the beginning to the end. It’s first time that I was able to let a whole album play from front to back with out pausing it with the exception of Jay Electroninica’s victory mixtape. More below.

It’s been 10 long years since we have heard anything from Rakim. Many would say he was probably finished when never completed the album with Dr Dre. Though in my mind I felt that would have been a most compelling album I guess that will have to stay in the wishful thinking box. Not to under estimate his latest work “The Seventh Seal. Rakim proves that even being off the scene in 10 years he still know how to make a great album. To read our review pop the trunk.

Trey Songz is one of the most under rated R&B singers in the industry. It looks like he may have changed up his marketing plan because now all you hear is Trey popping up on peoples albums doing several features. He even put a diss out on R. Kelly, which was a bold move by the R&B Crooner, challenging the one that he admires and looks up to, to step up his game and get off the auto tune wave.
