Tarica June: Moonlight Revolution (The Mixtape)

Remember when female emcees had place in hip-hop? Remember when people like MC Lyte, Queen Latifah and various others could spit verses to make you think and it was an acceptable form of mainstream hip-hop? Well we are bringing that back by featuring artist that do just that. Meet Tarica June… More Below.
The first time we have ever heard of this artist was through twitter. Shout out to BSimms for turning us on to her. Tarica’s sound has a conscious flow over jazz beats that will definitely make You sit back and smoke a spliff and light some incense and think. She has a new mixtape out titled “Moon Light Revolution” . It was easy on the ears and we could hear the creativity flowing through her rhymes and music. Check out her mixtape and if you like what you hear download it here. We believe that the balance in music needs to return and we will help and assist in that.
